GHB's target offshore banking perimeter would give international clients a Dubai-based, English common-law banking environment without the cost and complexity of establishing an offshore structure in a distant jurisdiction. You bank with GHB offshore directly - under GHB's intended DIFC or ADGM licence - using your existing passport, proof of non-UAE tax residence, and source-of-wealth documentation.

Individual applicants must be non-UAE tax residents with traceable financial assets of at least AED 1 million for offshore individual accounts under the CBUAE's offshore financial account framework.
Corporate applicants must be registered in an offshore-qualifying free zone (JAFZA, DIFC, DMCC) or be a non-UAE entity with at least one year of existence and a clean global compliance record.
All applicants must complete enhanced due diligence, including source-of-wealth and source-of-funds verification.
It is not a CRS-exempt secrecy vehicle. The UAE has participated in Common Reporting Standard automatic exchange since 2018 and now reports to over 100 treaty partners; DIFC, ADGM, and onshore accounts are all reportable if you remain tax-resident abroad. US persons remain subject to FATCA, FBAR, and Form 8938 obligations regardless of where their UAE account sits. Offshore banking at GHB means common-law regulation, English-language contracts, and a DFSA or FSRA regulator - not tax evasion or reporting avoidance.
Upload your passport, proof of non-UAE tax residence, proof of address, and source-of-wealth documentation.
