What international clients should check before choosing an account
Cross-border banking is shaped by a customer’s residency, legal jurisdiction, source of funds and the actual permissions of the institution providing services. A reference to DIFC or ADGM alone is not proof that an account is available.
Customers should be able to identify the contracting legal entity, relevant licence, service eligibility and applicable deposit or investor protections. These details belong in verified product disclosures.
GHB’s public website illustrates this information architecture. It does not yet represent an operating or authorised offshore banking arrangement.
